Unexpected Visitors

We all like it when company stops by, unexpected visitors popping in when they are in the neighborhood. Well, yesterday, our visitors had 4 legs each and antlers too. It was so amazing, especially since we live in the city.

I was sitting on my couch and noticed from the front door that something was lurking near the house. At first, I thought it was one of our cats climbing up on the porch. But when I got up to go look, lo and behold it wasn’t a cat at all. (Yeah, I should have had my glasses on.) There were 4 deer lurking around the house. They must have liked the backyard because they stayed for awhile, long enough for me to get some pictures. I was having a field day with the camera phone.  I think they were lost trying to find their way back to somewhere familiar…
